Your privacy is central to how UNTETHER was designed. All personal wellness content you create stays on your device. The developer does not intentionally collect, receive, or access your personal data.
All content you create in the App is stored exclusively on your device using local on-device application storage (including native key-value storage on supported platforms). This includes:
This data is not transmitted to any server, is not accessible to the developer, and does not leave your device unless you choose to share it externally.
Specifically, the developer does not collect, store, transmit, or process:
When you download and use UNTETHER through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, Apple Inc. and Google LLC may independently collect certain technical and diagnostic data as part of their platform operations. This may include app download records, crash reports, device type, and anonymised aggregate statistics. This data is collected by Apple and Google under their respective privacy policies and is not within the developer's control.
If you choose to donate via the "Buy Me a Coffee" button (available on Android and web versions only), you are redirected to an external third-party platform. Any data you provide is governed solely by that platform's privacy policy. UNTETHER does not receive, store, or process any donation information. Note: the donation button is not available in the iOS version of the app in compliance with Apple App Store guidelines.
Data stored locally on your device is used solely to:
The developer does not use your data for advertising, profiling, commercial purposes, research, or any purpose other than providing the App's core features to you on your own device.
The developer does not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal data with any third party. Because all user-created data is stored locally, any sharing occurs only if you voluntarily:
Your data persists on your device until you:
Because the developer does not hold or store your data on any server, the developer cannot delete it on your behalf. All data deletion is entirely within your control.
UNTETHER is strictly for users aged 18 years and older. The App is not directed at anyone under 18. The developer does not knowingly collect or process information from anyone under 18. If you believe a person under 18 is using the App, please contact us at untetheraod@gmail.com.
Because your data is stored locally using your device's on-device application storage, its security depends on your device's own security measures. We recommend:
The App includes an optional daily reminder feature that schedules local notifications on your device at times you choose. These notifications are generated entirely on-device and are not sent from any server or monitored by the developer. You may enable or disable them at any time within the App.
In Google Play's Data Safety section, UNTETHER declares:
In compliance with Apple's App Privacy requirements, UNTETHER declares: Data Not Collected — UNTETHER does not collect data from users that is linked to their identity or used to track them across apps and websites.
Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding personal data under the Australian Privacy Act 1988, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), or other applicable legislation. Because the developer does not collect or hold your personal data on any server, most of these rights are exercised directly on your own device through the App's built-in delete and clear functions. For any privacy-related questions, contact us at untetheraod@gmail.com.
If you have a concern about how the App handles personal information, please contact us at untetheraod@gmail.com. We will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days and work with you in good faith to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you may refer your complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will indicate the date of the most recent revision at the top of this Policy. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
